NOT in d M0-0D...

Lately just not in the mood to BLOG though there's LOTS of thoughts in mind... maybe think too much till bit clogged up. haha... sometimes you just feel like sitting down there quietly, relaxing and doing nothing... like having your own 'ME' time... = )

This morning went for a run at the gym after so long... can't remember when. After running for about 2Km++, the sharp pain in the knee is coming back. *sigh... had to stop after that... this time stamina is there but knee cannot take it.

This morning's timing was not that good. 2km in 17:45. Need more time to recover... Gosh, 3 more months to go... 10km in less than 90 mins?!? Initially, target 10km in 1 hour BUT I guess have to lower my target to 10km in 75 mins.

CUTIE PIE Moo-Moo Princess

Ain't she LOVELY? BUT I told my mom, wrapping her up in the striped, colourful towel really makes her look like a caterpillar... don't u think so?!? hahaha... there's one picture there... she's smiling while sleeping.... =)

Li'l MOO-MOO Princess is soooo cute and adorable... I'm starting to miss her dy...
Boy, it was a damn tiring trip back to KL last weekend BUT I guess it's worth while... if not becoz of going back to see the li'l one, I won't wanna suffer in the long ride. Ask PIGGY... we took the 7pm bus home and reach KL at 2am... crazy bus... usually it only takes 5 hours....this will be the first and last time taking that bus. PIGGY enjoyed the bus ride home though... they've got waiter serving food and drinks... personalized TV with video on demand with latest movies, TV games and massage chair.
Luckily, booked my bus ticket with 1st Coach next month... I still prefer taking rides with 1st Coach... no frills... cheaper and faster.

Preparing for Arrival of 1st Moo2 Princess

Shopaholic in action again today. Hahaha... Bought so many BB clothes for my 1st moo-moo niece... so looking forward to see her. Even bought ticket to go back with Piggy to KL next weekend. Everyone is so excited and waiting for the big day. My sis in law is suppose to deliver today but there's no contraction yet. If it is still not happening tomorrow, she would have to go to induce on Mon. Well, hope everything goes well and she would have a smooth delivery.

GOD BLESS THEM!

ABALONE - how to differentiate?

Any Idea on how to differentiate different types of ABALONE? I totally have no idea... hahah.. they all look the same to me... the only difference is the size and shape. This year my dad bought a few types of Abalone for my mom to cook during reunion dinner.

There are 3 types all together.... funny looking shape ya... i think the rounded one look cute... =p

This is how big it is... about 4+ inches in diameter.... Expensive stuff and I do not know how to appreciate. haha... I quite like to eat those baby ones... which they call the fake abalone... haha..

These 3 types of 'Abalone' comes from these 3 types of different can packaging. There's abalone with black lip, brown lip and blue lip... haha... but it looks pretty much the same to me... ?!?

HaPPy 'NIU' Nian 2009 in CHINA

HaPPy MOO-MOO year to you all! May all have a prosperous year and be blessed with good health, great wealth and lots of happiness... Time really flies... 2 more days to go and it will be 'Chap Goh Mei' and there goes the CNY for this year...

This 'MOO-MOO' year, I spent my CNY in CHINA with my whole family except for my 2nd bro and wife as the wife is delivering a li'l moo-moo bb soon. Everyone in the family is so looking forward to welcome this moo-moo princess.

Well, I missed celebrating CNY the old traditional ways back in hometown, where everyone goes visiting each other, relatives and friends. Then, everyone will have get together makan-makan, gambling, chit-chatting, play firecrackers/fireworks, etc. For the past few years, we had been having family outing during CNY. Anyway, it's great as long as you celebrate with your family, no matter where you are.

It was pretty FUN celebrating CNY in China. We went for a package tour for about a week there, covering Nanning and Guilin. 1st few days was pretty bad for me as I was sick but luckily got better on the 3rd day onwards. The weather change was pretty drastic, lowest was about 3 degree celcius and highest about 20 degree celcius. The weather was freezing cold... only towards the last 2 days it was warmer.

Below are some of the snapshots on the CNY atmosphere in Guilin...

It's a tradition to put up the 'Chun Lien' (New Year's couplets) every Chinese New Year at the front door. Not many people practise this tradition back in Malaysia nowadays. The picture below is taken at one of the village we visited in Yang Shuo.

It's legal to play firecrackers and fireworks there and it's so damn cheap. My bro and dad bought some to light up there. One big roll of firecrackers only cost about RM10-20. On CNY eve, the hotel next door to the one we stayed at... played firecrackers and fireworks non stop for almost 2 hours.... it's like burning lots of $$$.... hahaha...

My two li'l monster newphews freezing there... haha... the bridge behind them is the 'Crystal Glass Bridge'.

We get enjoy beautiful scenery at Guilin and Yang Shuo. The below picture is taken during the cruise at Li River (Li Jiang).

Beautiful scenery of Guilin from the top of 'Fubo Hill'. It took about 15-20 mins going up and down the hill.
