Shape Run 2010
Just had my Shape Run 2010 this morning. Weather forecasted was a storm but the weather turned out to be good. Thank GOD for it. ^=^
Had a good run with Piggy and a couple of gym mates despite my aunty visit. This time we are on time before they start the run but my goodness... the toilet Q was damn long. I end up running the 10km with a full bladder. It's really not a good idea after all. Timing this time not better than previous but still not that bad after all.
Felt so good after emptying my bladder at the finishing line.... in the toilet of course. hahaha...
Here's the goody bag this year. Don't really like the bag and Piggy swears not to join the Shape Run next year anymore coz of the bad organisation on the goody bag collection. Haha...

So far so good...
So far so good... my hair is growing well, though not as fast as I wanted it to... Piggy was betting with me that I need 2 years to grow to the length before the cut but I give it 6 months to 1 year.
Sometimes I still forget that I am now bald... I got a habit of combing my hair when I wake up in the morning. Hahaha... by the time I reach the comb and look into the mirror, I would just stop and laugh myself.
I still get a lot of starring from people as expected especially in the MRT and in the gym but I just ignore them. There are some friendly people out there who would just give me a smile when they see me. Even those who never talk to me in the gym come talk to me.
Anyway, the happiest thing is cutie pie is not afraid to see my baldie head. Initially she was shocked... but after that she finds it funny and start playing with my hair. Hahaha... The 1st time my mommy show her my bald pix, she look at it calling 'ku-ku' and touch her own head. She's so adorable... ^=^

Buh-bye my lovely hair...
There goes my lovely hair... Today at the "HAIR FOR HOPE" event, I parted with my hair. The guy who shaved my head was like being so careful and so scared to shave off my hair... end up my hair was pretty uneven.... I guess he was like trying to leave some extra hair for me instead of shaving it all. Hahaha...
Well, it's for a good cause and my hair will grow back. Just have to bear with the in-between ugly growth. Hahaha... It does feel a bit cold without my hair... feels so naked.
Thanks to all that have been very supportive!!! You guys helped made a difference to the children with cancer. ^=^

There goes my fav padlock...
Bubye to my favourite padlock due to my carelessness... : (
I have forgotten to bring my padlock to gym a couple of times but luckily got some good fella gym mates came to rescue as they brought a few padlocks with them each time. Hahaha... for backup. This is my 1st time locking up my keys in the locker. Gotta get the staff to cut my padlock. Lucky MCC came to rescue that day. ^=^
Must be X-tra careful next time...
* 1more day to go and I'll be Ms. Baldee... I'm gonna miss my hair so much...

2010 Resolutions Mid-Year Review
Half a year gone and another half of year 2010 to go. Time really flies...
OK, need to do some review here....and some items need to be revised. Hahaha...
1. 65kg by June 2010 and 60kg by Dec 2010. -> Had been between 65 to 66kg lately... BUT after 1 week being sick, Piggy's 'Lying Weighing Machine' told me that I'm 62kg. Haha... In Progress.
2. Continue to nurture my soul with more spiritual food. -> Not very promising for now but will work on it... Work In Progress
3. Climb Mt KK (if my friend's friend plan is still on...) -> Postponed to year 2011
4. Start training in order to run my 1st 21km. -> Training interrupted when falling sick... gonna start working on it next week. Will be for my 1st 30km instead of 21km.... In Progress
5. Cut down my tea/caffeine intake by at least max 5 cups a week. *sigh, drank 3 cups 2day.. = ( -> Revised to “Max 2 cups a day”. Now I understand how the smokers trying to quit smoking feel. Hahaha... Revised
6. Work on the iron level to be able to donate in year 2010. -> Haven’t go try donating blood but recently just had a ‘Blood Test’ due to doc suspect that I’m Anaemic but it seems that my blood test turned out fine and iron level is good. ^=^ Will go try again after my 30km run...No Progress yet
7. Plan a backpacking trip to Europe. -> Postponed to year 2011/2012
8. To be able to swim 200 metres. (one of the pre-requisite for taking up diving) -> To sign up swimming lessons with Piggy in 2nd half of the year... Work In Progress
9. Get a diving license in basic 'PADI OPEN WATER DIVING'. -> No time to slot this in yet. Hahaha... And need to fulfil No. 8 and especially learn how to 'trade' in water before I can get my license... My 'siaw ti' could not get his license as he cannot do the floating....No Progress yet
10. Take up a new sport/activity for a challenge. -> Haven't got extra time for this yet. Does signing up for dance lessons in a new studio counts?!? Hahaha... Will check it out this Sat...No Progress yet
In summary, resolution 3 and 6 are dropped... resolution 5 revised. Therefore, the progress is about 50% for now... and of course there's always room for further improvement.
Need to 'GANBATTE' more.... 'JIA YOU'....' JIA YOU'!!! ^=^
