Will I ever get married?

OMG... I did a Quiz from Facebook and this is the results...

Based on your score, you will get married 10 Years From Now!You have worked hard in your academics and are looking for a great job. But, you will soon feel content with yourself and begin the search for that special someone. They will happen upon your when you least expect it. You are in for a fun ride!

* 10 years from now... then I better don't think so much about it... still a loonnnnggg way to go... HAHAHA... by that time, I'm too old to even wanna think about marriage..

Sell Fish?!?

I personally think that HUMANS are naturally SELFISH in each individual ways... whether it is slightly selfish, little selfish, very selfish or extremely selfish. Sigh... it's just reality... If everyone is not Selfish, the world would be a better place to live in?!? A point to ponder...

Counting d days...

I'm really looking forward to this SAT....

Already counting the days...3 more days to go... then I'm off to Macau, then HK, Shenzen then back again to SG. I kinda miss HK since the last time I was there. Gonna go there shop, shop, shop and eat, eat, eat. Hahaha... n snap, snap, snap LOTS of pix.

Really need to destress myself and get away from work for awhile.

Before I go off, I must clear as much as I can else there would be mountains of work waiting for me when I'm back. Had to back up all my stuff in the laptop as IT need to reformat my laptop. Haven't been behaving lately and causing a lot of problems.

Action Says it All?

It is true that from one's actions you can tell a LOT...

whether you realize it or not...
whether the person did it consciously or sub-consciously...
whether it is obvious or not...
whether the receiving party knows or pretend not to know...

it can really spell it all out if anyone would bother to take not...
or you can say if anyone is sensitive enough to observe.

U can actually know if that person likes or dislikes another person...
OR
U can actually know if that one person have a grudge on the other person...
OR
U can actually notice that that person actually cares a lot for you...
OR
U can actually sense that he/she have good/bad impression on you...
OR
U can actually know your priorities in that person's life...
OR
U can actually know if you're important or not in that person's life...

Well, actions can say it all but it does not determine anything if one does not speak it out...
I guess sometimes saying is better than doing and doing it does not mean everything if it's not been said. How come we always say "Easier said than done"? Does it apply to what we want to say out to each other, which instead we end up doing it but never really spell it out in words?

Sometimes, it could be that we need a lot of courage to actually say or do something but we just do not have enough. Then, in the end we might just end up saying or doing things that we don't mean and somewhat end up regretting later....

Life can be really complicated sometimes... I would say MIXED UP COLOURS in the wrong way could be pretty awful... and some people may call it MODERN ART... hahaha....

Year 2008 Resolutions

Everyone seems to be making Near Year resolutions for year 2008 and reviewing the resolutions they have made for year 2007. I never really have any resolutions every year and time just come and goes. Time flies before I realize it. And this year I'm gonna hit the number 30 that every woman fears but to me it's just an age, a number.

Anyway, thought it wouldn't do any harm pen-ning down some of the things that I would like to do or achieve this year 2008 since I haven't been doing much in 2007. = )

1. Eat sensibly and do more exercise to keep fit, possibly to lose some fat, say 5kg?!?

2. Be more 'Holy' as if...hehe..try not to skip masses esp. during obligation days

3. Travel to Australia (Sydney, Gold Coast, etc..) and Vietnam

4. Complete my Jap lessons and take up JLPT 4 exam this end of the year

5. Learn my chinese and be able to sing more chinese songs in K without translated lyrics

6. Brush up my dancing steps in Latin and Standard Ballroom dancing

7. Do things that I wanna do eg. play tennis, learn swimming, etc..

8. Blood donations - at least something good that I can do although it's nothing big

9. Be more positive, less sensitive, more patient, more discipline and less procrastinating

10. Live my life to the fullest - live like there's no tomorrow

And the most important of all is LIFE is a journey and not a destination... and of all the things I do, as long as everyone around me is healthy and happy, I'm HAPPY and I THANK GOD for everything I have and for all the lovely people around me.

The POWER of LOVE

Can 'LOVE' really change a person?

I really believe that it would... whether voluntarily or involuntarily. It could be from better to worse or it could be from bad to good. I guess it all depends on environment, situation and individuals. And it all depends on how much would you sacrifice for 'LOVE'? Or could it be that it is true 'LOVE' or the common saying that 'LOVE is blind' and you would do anything for it?

What would you do for 'LOVE'?

- Change your outlook and image? eg. Leave long hair, diet, dress up, etc...

- Change your character? eg. Be more polite, more macho, more feminine, etc...

- Change your habit? eg. Less vulgar speech, quit smoking, less clubbing, etc..

- Change priorities in life? eg. 'LOVE' wins all (work, family, friends...)

- Do things that you never do? eg. Climb the mountain, Bungee Jump, Tattoo, etc..

I guess 'LOVE' is just something so magical that it could do wonders but sometimes it could be so unpredictable as well coz not all the time it would go both ways...

I would think that if you 'LOVE' that someone, whether or not that person 'LOVES' you in return, you would actually do anything just to makes him/her happy coz when you see him/her happy, you would actually feel happy for him/her as well as yourself. That would be an unconditional 'LOVE' that is so beautiful...

'LOVE' is not 'LOVE' if it is conditional... anonymous

"LOVE is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own."

- Robert A. Heinlein-
