Christmas@Zoo

Today we celebrated our Christmas with all the animals at the ZOO. Hahaha... the domestic animals visiting the animals in the cage. Initially, supposingly there's 8 of us but 2 suddenly 'aeroplane'-ed us coz too tired.

We visited the monkeys, lions, zebras, Jo's fav giraffes, orang utans, reptiles, Piggy's pet's relative - tapirs, white tigers that ate the guy who commited suicide in the Zoo recently, penguins, polar bears, roos, etc... Watched some animal shows, fed some animals, kissed by the sea lion, irritated by some uncivilised people as well... I think it's a nice place for a leisure visit.. and the weather was pretty good today... cloudy... = )

Overall, we all had LOTS of FUN... spend almost one full day there... everyone was damn tired but had a happy... great time there... Took so many pictures... keep snapping away till all the batteries are flat and memory cards are full. hahaha...

Last week of 2008...

Gosh... time really flies. It's Christmas Eve again.... and 1 more week to go, we will all say buh-bye to 2008 and Hello to 2009!! I haven't been a real good gal this year... must work harder next year. Gotta reflect back on all my previous new year resolutions and come out with new ones. hahaha... it's like year end appraisals. :p

Snow White & d' 7 Dwarfs

Last Sunday night, I went to watch the WILDRICE musical "Snow White" with my friends and we had a good time laughing throughout the show. It was not the usual classical romantic type of musical but it's the one with a twist.

I really enjoyed the show though my colleague told me that the last few ones (i.e. Cinderel-Lah, Jack and the Beansprouts, Oi! Sleeping Beauty, etc..) were better though this was quite good. After the show, we even took pictures with the casts. I think the Queen was really good and the Magic Mirror and one of the dwarf were quite entertaining as well. The prince is quite cute... boy-ish cute... or you could say more of a 'pretty' boy and the queen is handsome. Snow White is played by Elena Wang, while Queen and Prince are played by Sebastian Tan and Dwayne Tan respectively. Piggy wanted to hug both the Queen and the Prince. hahahah... She loved it so much... she even took pictures with all of them and got their autographed CD.

Was thinking hard what to do with my messy long mane... to look nice? for better maintenance? cost? time? which style? where? hahaha...

Made up mind to book appointment with one of my friend a.k.a. part time hairdresser at her aunty's saloon. Said buh-bye to my messy mane and a more maintainable one now... though didn't change much... still look very much the same style. Ended doing 3, 5, 8 & 9... hahaha..

I wanted it to be even shorter but every time the hairsylist will only cut till max...right below the shoulder.... guess my 'pau' face can't have short hairstyle. =p

Old dy... or legs getting rusty...

After so long being away from the dance class, my legs aching after the 2 hours dancing today. Teacher complaining dancing slacking... hahaha... Maybe old dy... dance bit oledi tired... Or have been away from GYM lately and didn't sleep enough... Hahaha... just some old excuses... = p

Interest VS Effort

Does the amount of 'Interest' actually determine the amount of 'Effort' a person willing to put in to do something or to complete a task?!? * Something to ponder about...

Preview of Christmas 2008 in Lion City

Here's some preview of how Christmas look like in Lion City for year 2008. I think this year the decorations aren't that great. Maybe cut cost due to recession. Hehe... Some pictures I took while walking along Orchard road. Heard from Piggy the decor at MV is good this year. Too bad, not there... have to get Froggy to upload some pictures for me.
