Will I ever get married?

OMG... I did a Quiz from Facebook and this is the results...

Based on your score, you will get married 10 Years From Now!You have worked hard in your academics and are looking for a great job. But, you will soon feel content with yourself and begin the search for that special someone. They will happen upon your when you least expect it. You are in for a fun ride!

* 10 years from now... then I better don't think so much about it... still a loonnnnggg way to go... HAHAHA... by that time, I'm too old to even wanna think about marriage..

Sell Fish?!?

I personally think that HUMANS are naturally SELFISH in each individual ways... whether it is slightly selfish, little selfish, very selfish or extremely selfish. Sigh... it's just reality... If everyone is not Selfish, the world would be a better place to live in?!? A point to ponder...

Counting d days...

I'm really looking forward to this SAT....

Already counting the days...3 more days to go... then I'm off to Macau, then HK, Shenzen then back again to SG. I kinda miss HK since the last time I was there. Gonna go there shop, shop, shop and eat, eat, eat. Hahaha... n snap, snap, snap LOTS of pix.

Really need to destress myself and get away from work for awhile.

Before I go off, I must clear as much as I can else there would be mountains of work waiting for me when I'm back. Had to back up all my stuff in the laptop as IT need to reformat my laptop. Haven't been behaving lately and causing a lot of problems.

Action Says it All?

It is true that from one's actions you can tell a LOT...

whether you realize it or not...
whether the person did it consciously or sub-consciously...
whether it is obvious or not...
whether the receiving party knows or pretend not to know...

it can really spell it all out if anyone would bother to take not...
or you can say if anyone is sensitive enough to observe.

U can actually know if that person likes or dislikes another person...
OR
U can actually know if that one person have a grudge on the other person...
OR
U can actually notice that that person actually cares a lot for you...
OR
U can actually sense that he/she have good/bad impression on you...
OR
U can actually know your priorities in that person's life...
OR
U can actually know if you're important or not in that person's life...

Well, actions can say it all but it does not determine anything if one does not speak it out...
I guess sometimes saying is better than doing and doing it does not mean everything if it's not been said. How come we always say "Easier said than done"? Does it apply to what we want to say out to each other, which instead we end up doing it but never really spell it out in words?

Sometimes, it could be that we need a lot of courage to actually say or do something but we just do not have enough. Then, in the end we might just end up saying or doing things that we don't mean and somewhat end up regretting later....

Life can be really complicated sometimes... I would say MIXED UP COLOURS in the wrong way could be pretty awful... and some people may call it MODERN ART... hahaha....

Year 2008 Resolutions

Everyone seems to be making Near Year resolutions for year 2008 and reviewing the resolutions they have made for year 2007. I never really have any resolutions every year and time just come and goes. Time flies before I realize it. And this year I'm gonna hit the number 30 that every woman fears but to me it's just an age, a number.

Anyway, thought it wouldn't do any harm pen-ning down some of the things that I would like to do or achieve this year 2008 since I haven't been doing much in 2007. = )

1. Eat sensibly and do more exercise to keep fit, possibly to lose some fat, say 5kg?!?

2. Be more 'Holy' as if...hehe..try not to skip masses esp. during obligation days

3. Travel to Australia (Sydney, Gold Coast, etc..) and Vietnam

4. Complete my Jap lessons and take up JLPT 4 exam this end of the year

5. Learn my chinese and be able to sing more chinese songs in K without translated lyrics

6. Brush up my dancing steps in Latin and Standard Ballroom dancing

7. Do things that I wanna do eg. play tennis, learn swimming, etc..

8. Blood donations - at least something good that I can do although it's nothing big

9. Be more positive, less sensitive, more patient, more discipline and less procrastinating

10. Live my life to the fullest - live like there's no tomorrow

And the most important of all is LIFE is a journey and not a destination... and of all the things I do, as long as everyone around me is healthy and happy, I'm HAPPY and I THANK GOD for everything I have and for all the lovely people around me.

The POWER of LOVE

Can 'LOVE' really change a person?

I really believe that it would... whether voluntarily or involuntarily. It could be from better to worse or it could be from bad to good. I guess it all depends on environment, situation and individuals. And it all depends on how much would you sacrifice for 'LOVE'? Or could it be that it is true 'LOVE' or the common saying that 'LOVE is blind' and you would do anything for it?

What would you do for 'LOVE'?

- Change your outlook and image? eg. Leave long hair, diet, dress up, etc...

- Change your character? eg. Be more polite, more macho, more feminine, etc...

- Change your habit? eg. Less vulgar speech, quit smoking, less clubbing, etc..

- Change priorities in life? eg. 'LOVE' wins all (work, family, friends...)

- Do things that you never do? eg. Climb the mountain, Bungee Jump, Tattoo, etc..

I guess 'LOVE' is just something so magical that it could do wonders but sometimes it could be so unpredictable as well coz not all the time it would go both ways...

I would think that if you 'LOVE' that someone, whether or not that person 'LOVES' you in return, you would actually do anything just to makes him/her happy coz when you see him/her happy, you would actually feel happy for him/her as well as yourself. That would be an unconditional 'LOVE' that is so beautiful...

'LOVE' is not 'LOVE' if it is conditional... anonymous

"LOVE is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own."

- Robert A. Heinlein-

Housework Saturday

Had a busy Saturday today but it was a fruitful one. Haven't been staying at home during weekends for quite some time and didn't do so much housework in a day for so long.

Today I woke up at noon and decided to do some spring cleaning. My room is really in a mess so I decided to start with my room. I managed to tidy and clean up my room. I ironed the whole wardrobe and did my laundry. I swept the floor, scrub and clean the toilet.

I even manage to make myself some coleslaw and potato salad. After all the hard work, I managed to sit down to relax myself by watching "STEPS". It's a really interesting, new HK TVB series on Latin Ballroom Dancing.

Today's colour is PINK = )

Today, I had a hell time at work chasing after people trying to push for things to move faster. And I felt so cheated with all the empty promises. Anyway, I got so fed up with it, I left the office at 730pm to go for my dance class. Really need some time to de-stress...

Well, I'm HAPPY today that I got back to my dance class. I learn the basic steps of 'Fox Trot'. Slow... slow... quick...quick.... looks easy but doing it is another thing. Some more our teacher made us do some exercise that use inner thigh muscles to do the movement. Tough thing to do... must try to practise more at home. Or maybe go for more YOGA lessons to be more flexible with all the body movements.

And today I've got GOOD News. Teacher fixed the lessons to Tues & Fri, which means I can make it for both the classes and attend my Jap classes in peace on Mon & Wed. Thurs would be a free day for me to go home sleep early. Hahaha. Then weekend would be gym & church day. Wow.. it's like a timetable for me. Must really discipline myself. This weekend better do some planning. Need to schedule some time for my Chinese self study & drama time. = )

Tomorrow is FRIDAY... Yiippeeeee!!!!! Pray that I don't need to go back to work this weekend.

Exhausted...

Don't know if it's a CURSE or what...

1st I complain too free and nothing much to do...and suddenly, before I realized it.. things just come FLOWING non stop and work keep piling up... almost drowning me to death.

Next time, I better just shut up...

I missed my Dance lessons and Gym classes. My dance teacher also start complaining that I'm not attending the lessons consistently. Sigh... they are all learning new dance, "Fox Trot" and I'm still stuck with "Cha-Cha" and "Rumba". I wonder how "Fox Trot" is.. waltzing around like a Fox? hahaha.. or have be to "Foxy" to dance. I hope I can leave on time for the dance tomorrow. Lucky they change from Wed to Thurs, else I would have missed it again for my Jap class. Suddenly, I just feel so exhausted running after time... working late... rushing for class...etc... Can't wait for this weekend to go STEPS (Jon's class) and rest rest at home.

Lately, skies are pretty GREY... I need a RAINBOW!!!

* suddenly i remember the phrase of the song... u make me happi when skies r grey.. = )

My 1st Jap Class@09 Jan 08

Lucky today reach Jap class on time...

Left office around 745pm and reach before 830pm for class.

I find the class pretty BORING today maybe coz it's too easy for the 1st few classes as I have taken the class 3 years ago for about 6 months. Hope it would be better in the next few classes.

Next time, must reach earlier to get good seats. Haha..the class structure is a bit funny...packed with about 30 students with crampy space. Must be the school trying to earn more $$$ as usual. I like the Jap teacher though. She looks nice and seems to be very friendly.

Soon, I would be able to converse with my friends in Jap.. Cool...

So happy, tomorrow I'm heading back home to meet my friends and family and eat good food..

Bad Day 2day

Today, I feel like an "untrained" soldier sent out to WAR to fight the battle without any weapon and armour....

I'm having a BAD day... really trying hard to be positive dy... = ((

Priorities in Life...

Sometimes, I really wonder WHY do we need to work so hard..

- Is it because of $$$?

- Is it because of Status?

- Is it because of Better Life?

- Is it because for FUN?

- Is it because we really like to work and not do nothing?

If you're TOO BUSY working and there's no time for your family, ownself, own interest, etc... would you still be HAPPY?!? But if you don't work hard, you will be stuck in your career and there will be no increment in your salary and you will not be able to buy the things that you want and do the things that you like...eg. travelling.. that would be depressing as well...

Hmmm... maybe one should live life simple...then we would be more happy without expecting so much...but would that be bit boring? Sigh... too much to think about...

Better sleep it through tonight. It's been a LONG day today...

Buh-bye to my weekend

There goes my weekend...both Sat & Sun. OK, today I will be good and sleep before 10pm tonight. It's considered very early for me dy since I'm a night person.

Let me see, Sat I had been working for 16 hours++ and today I worked for about 7 hours. Tomorrow have to go office earlier some more. But the funny thing is I don't really dread going to work.. just that missing my weekend. It's OK, this coming weekend I can have it all to myself thought it's gonna be a tiring bus trip during the weekend but I sure must enjoy myself.

I missed mass this weekend again... I hope GOD is not mad at me. I will try to make it up ok. This is also one of my new year resolution, to go to mass for consistently and try not to skip any masses especially during obligation day. I'll blog up my new year resolution by this end of month during one free weekend... better don't procrastinate further. kekee..

I wonder why every time I blog, the timing displayed on the post is not correct.

Now is actually Sun 9:11pm... let's see what's the time stamp later. Orite..it's time to have my beauty sleep and have a sweet dream... Nite Nite!!

LOW Batt... Need to Re-Charge

So sad... didn't manage to go for my DANCING session today. Only managed to leave the office around 10pm++. Need to go to work full day at 9am tomorrow. That means no GYM class for me tomorrow also. Awww... Can't wait to re-charge on Sunday. Really getting worn out and cannot think properly. Hahaha...

Nvm, I better sleep well tonight and continue my battle at work tomorrow. Hope I will have a better day tomorrow and looking forward to next weekend as I will be going back to KL. Can't wait to go back and eat good food and meet up with my family and friends. At least there's some motivation for me. Dancing is FUN

Hope I can leave work early tomorrow...

It's TIME to MOVE, GROOVE and SHAKE it all out to release all the stress and Enjoy!

I think I like to dance more and more. I started to learn Latin Ballroom Dancing about 3 months ago and I find it real fun and interesting though I'm still not so good at it. I guess I'm still bit shy to move about, need to open up a little.

Conclusion, dancing is FUN!! = )

COFFEE OR CUP

Today I had a tiring day at work from 5am till 8pm. While getting pretty sleepy at work, I read this interesting article and decided to forward it to some friends... and I got some interesting replies as well... Check out the article below...

*** Coffee Or Cup?!? ***

The happiest people in the world are not those who have no problems, butthose who learn to live with things that are less than perfect."

A group of graduates, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite- telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the simple and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases, it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... Then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this:
- Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups.
- They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.
- Sometimes, by concentrating on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us. Enjoy your coffee!.

"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything."

1. Live simply.
2. Love generously.
3. Care deeply.
4. Speak kindly.
5. Leave the rest to God

You are the miracle, my friend; Your life either shines a light OR casts a shadow!Shine a light & Enjoy the Coffee!!!

--------------------

My friend asked.. then WHY people like to go STARBUCKS? haha..then I questioned her back...STARBUCKS coffee is nice what... Imagine the coffee sucks, would people still go?

Anyway, the main point here is the important thing lies within ourselves and not all the material stuff around us. It's our LIFE that matters the most. So, live our life to the fullest! = )

Orange yesterday & Blue today..What's next?

On New Year Eve, really had lots of FUN at one my dance mate's condo. We ate some home cook food, chocs, snacks, desserts and drank some wine. We dance a bit of Cha Cha and Waltz before countdown. From her condo, we managed to catch some glimpse of fireworks. I met this cute little angel at her house too. Ain't she cute?!?

* Every time you wanna take her pix, she will make funny faces. hehe...
It was an "ORANGE" day for me on New Year's Eve & New Year's Day. = ))

I really had a 'Energetic New Year Day' yesterday. I woke up at 9am, which is VERY early for me coz I'm not a morning person and some more it is a Public Holiday and I slept at 230am. I had to send my friend off to take bus home from Lion City to KL. After having breakfast together and sending her off, I went off to GYM. Ya.. I'm actually waking up early to go workout. Totally not like me. Hahaha.. I went for a Special New Year 2 hour class of "1 Step UP & Ab Fab". It was fun and the instructor was very interesting.
After having all those heavy intensity workout, I went to eat with a friend. There goes our workout. keke.. Then, we head to Vivo City to shop shop... there goes our $$$... wallet bleeding again but as usual we had FUN.

Here's some pix I took on a brand new year... I LOVE taking pix especially the 'COLOURFUL' ones as I find it very interesting though my photography skills still needs much improvement.

* pix taken at the MRT station, with the Big Painted Mask face... nice?!?

* pix taken at Vivo City park... I like the cute icon on top of me

* pix taken at Vivo City at night with the Tall Christmas tree
Well, today is not so much of an 'ORANGE' day but 'BLUE' day for me. It's been a BZ.. BZ day for me running up and down, here and there. Work late and the not so good news is I have to be at office at 5am tomorrow. Arrghh.. it's BAD news for a non-morning person like me. BUT... since it's a new year, I will take it easy and 'Be Happy' anyway. Happy or Not, Life goes on..
So, pray that I will have a GOOD day tomorrow. 'YELLOW' or 'GRAY' tomorrow? = )
*** GAM-BA-TE!!! ***

1st Mark of the Year 2008

I started blogging a year ago as I got influenced from my fella ex-colleagues, whom we have become close friends now.

I like blogging pretty much as I can just write down anything I want, whether it is daily events, happenings around, thoughts, complains, reviews, etc.. but I was not a very frequent and consistent blogger. Anyway, this year I feel like creating a totally new BLOG and keep up with the maintenance. Well, let's see how it goes. Wish me luck!! = )

I named this blog "COLOURS OF LIFE" so that I can blog about basically anything in Life.
Actually, life is full of colours and each one of us can live our life with different colours everyday. You can feel "BLUE" one day and "GREY" another day, else you may feel "ORANGE" or full of Rainbow COLOURS everyday. So, what's your COLOUR?!?

Hope everyone out there live their LIFE to the fullest with "COLOURS OF LIFE".

* HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008 TO ALL!!!*
