I find it very sad to see some friends divorcing, breaking up after years...even for the most loving couples. Some are just so unbelievable...
Just some thoughts running in mind...
Is there 'Happily Ever After' at all?
Love at 1st Sight...
Love U till Death Do US part...
Love 4Ever...
All Fairy Tales?!?
Falling in LOVE is always easy as 1,2,3...
Falling OUT of LOVE is also VERY easy...if you let it be...
I guess being in a marriage is not only...
Everyday saying 'I Love U'...
Every night making LOVE 2 u...
Every month give pocket $$$ 2 u.........
It's always easy to start a relationship and eventually tie a knot...
BUT it takes MORE than that to keep the relationship going andboth parties just have to work hard to make it happen. If you are not sure, please don't simply tie the knot. It's not a game to play. :p
Sometimes, if one party cannot stand the temptations to stray...things just go wrong everywhere. And once things go wrong, it wouldbe difficult to restore to the original state. Like the saying, once the glass is broken, no matter how you mend it, there's always a crack.
Nothing's perfect in this world. We can't have everything that's for sure.
I guess it's not easy to find someone who...
Loves u for who you are...
No matter how u looks...
No matter how u change in future...
No matter how your attitude is...
No matter what happens in future...
If you do find that person, feel lucky and be grateful to cherish them.
I really admire those old couples with white hair...those who lived to the quote, live together till hair become white.
Well, I just wish all the 'HAPPILY MARRIED' couples out there to have blissful marriage and hopefully to have a relationship 'white hair till old'. And to all that are getting married soon to have a long journey till the end. :)
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched... but are felt in the heart. - Helen Keller

OniBaba ---> Demon Hag
Today I went to the Japanese Film Festival at the SG National Museum to watch this film called 'Onibaba'. My gym buddy and I rushed like mad to the 2pm show from Bugis gym to Dhoby Ghaut. It was really like 'Amazing Race' and we were not very sure of the place. Hahaha.. We 'mandi kerbau' after our Steps class finish at 1:20pm and dashed our way there. Luckily, still make it in time but missed about 10 mins of the show. Didn't missed much though...
ONIBABA
Here's the synopsis from the 'Japanese Film Festival' website.
***********************************************************************************
In a war-torn 14th century Japan, a woman and her daughter-in-law eke out their living by ambushing worn-out fleeing warriors, killing them and selling their belongings. The woman begins to mistrust her daughter-in-law who couples up with a deserter. Obsessed with jealousy and the fear that the younger woman would leave her, she schemes to keep the younger woman by her side by wearing a demonic mask to scare the couple. To her horror, the mask becomes securely stuck to her face and her attempts to remove it result in the greatest horror of all. Partially based on the legends of onibaba (demon-hag), the film tells a dynamic story of unrestrained desires and instincts.
***********************************************************************************
My friend actually find some of the scenes pretty disturbing BUT it didn't really have much impact on me. I find it really funny though... the way they film some parts of the show. The show really shows how desperate one can be across time in certain situations. Human can be pretty violent in order to survive and protect themselves.
I guess everyone would have different feelings while watching the show. It's like different people would just interpret things differently while looking at the same thing or reading the same book. = )
** backlog in a lot of things... haven't been blogging much, HW piling up, room super-messy, lots of photos not sorted, slacking in running.... = (

Shape Run 2009 Results
Slight improvement from the last run, by a few minutes. The last Sundown 10km I took 1:17:19.89 and for this Shape 10km I took 01:13:41. Well, can't hope for much with no training. I hope I can clock within an hour soon, with training. Hahaha...
This year is really a running year. Never run so much in my life. I wonder if Piggy is regretting having a crazy roommate who makes her sign up all the runs together. Hahaha... Piggy & I signed up another run, just 5km only in Oct -> Pink Ribbon Run & Walk So, in total there would be 5 runs (45km) this year. = )
