Adidas Sundown Run 2010

Had a good run last night though I was still running with stitch this round. I dunno why since the Passion Run, I keep getting stitch during the run. I almost gave up around 6 to 7km when my tummy hurts so much..... till MCC called up to me from behind. I became more motivated when I saw her and continue to run till the finishing line. Thanks to MCC!!! ^=^

I'm so happy that I beat my last week's Passion Run record though only about 2 mins faster.

I am getting nearer and nearer to my 10km in 60mins goal. I am pretty worried about my 30km in Oct now. I better 'add oil' and start some 'real' training when I'm back from my June trip else I will not finish my 1st 30km in one piece. Hahaha.... Hope MCC will last minute decide to run together with me for the 30km.

So happy that despite running with stitches all the way from 3km onwards, I still manage to beat my own best records of 1 hour 13 mins++. Well, I hope this coming Sat, I would do better for the Adidas Sundown 10km. My target would be 10km within 1 hour by end of this year.

Piggy did very well too... without any training, she managed to finish within 1 hour 30mins++.
Congrats, Piggy!! She must be having fun eating non-stop in Ipoh now... haha... It's pretty quiet being home alone without Piggy's snoring and li'l Chicky Pie's crying... I miss them...

Adidas Sundown Race Pack Collection

Just collected my Adidas Sundown 10km race pack today. Lucky my gym buddy helped me Q for the race pack today else I would be Q-ing forever at Raffles City as the Q was damn long.

I quite like the colour coz it's Purple but don't really like the cutting though. I will be just doing 10km this round and I hope to do the full marathon next year if possible for Adidas Sundown 2011 as I prefer night runs, if I am still in Lion City. Hahaha....

Tomorrow is my 10km Passion Run at East Coast Park with Piggy and friends. Hope the weather is good and everything goes well tomorrow evening. ^=^

Life is Short...

I was so shocked today in my Jap class when my classmates mentioned that one of my classmate died in road accident last Thursday. I missed my class last lesson but I just met her the previous lesson the week before. My heart still feels kinda uneasy and sad now, though I didn't know her for a very long time.

She's always so cheerful and happy go lucky in class. She's also a very athletic lady and is always very kind to others. She's an active sportswoman who frequently do triathlon and marathon. She was training for her cycling while got knocked down by a van. She is a known careful and an experienced cyclist whom have been cycling for 15 years.

How come good people always die young? *Sigh....

Life is short.... Live your life to the fullest with no regrets and live like there's no tomorrow.

Passion Run 2010

Just collected my Passion Run race pack today at Novena Square with Piggy. We also helped collected for our KL friends come joining us for the run this coming Saturday (22nd March 2010). It would be a late afternoon run at East Coast Park. For those joining 25km run, it would start at 430pm while the 10km run would start at 530pm. This would be my 3rd run in year 2010. ^=^

* MCC actually woke up early on a weekend to go register for 'Yellow Ribbon Prison Run' to get the early bird free gift, which is the cookies at the top right corner of the picture... i tell her she more and more like aunty liaw... hahaha... well, thanks to her I get to eat the yummy cookies too coz she helped me registered.

Lucky still under warranty...

I LOVE my SONY wireless MP3 that I've bought 1 year ago BUT it has one major flaw, which is not waterproof. Other than that, it's just great especially on the wireless as it is very convenient.

Anyway, I have been to SONY customer service for 3 times as it went bit hay-wired. I was advised not to used it for running but the purpose I bought it is for running. *Sigh.... It has this USB port at the controller side which is open and vulnerable to moist and wetness. If the port is corroded the whole player would go haywired.Lucky this player is still under warranty so each time I visit the service centre, they replaced a totally new one for me.

Hope it would not die on me after the warranty period. Hahaha... The other day, my friend told me they gonna launch the new upgraded waterproof version. Arrgghhh!!!!
