CRAZY 'CROCS' SALE

Had a 'SUPER' tiring day today.... went for a CROCS warehouse sale with Piggy, Chicky and wife. It as quite a worth sale as it was up till 80% off BUT it was really a crazy experience. We went there earlier before it starts at 10am as advised by my colleague as she went yesterday and the Q was really really long. And today, it was EVEN LONGER.... The Q actually filled up the whole hall next door and it got longer and longer... some of them even came back for the SALE after buying a lot yesterday...

* This is how the Q look like at 9:30am and the beginning of the line is at the next hall's entrance... some people even packed food to sit down on the floor to eat while Q-ing...

It got worst when more and more people are coming in... Everyone pushing each other and almost pushed the table off towards the salesperson. A kid almost got squashed... but rescued by the dad screaming at everyone to back off. Everyone was screaming for the sizes of the shoes and you can see shoes flying from one end... and people catching and snatching from the other end... but some end up with the wrong sizes. Hahaha... There's this 'Angmo' busy capturing video of the whole chaotic sale session. I didn't bring my camera so I end up taking picture with my HP and the quality ain't that good. They grabbed the shoes like it's FREE. Imagine if it's really free... I think people will be trampled to death and there will be injuries... kekeke...

People there can be quite scary. We took a few pairs of different designs after squeezing our way in and out the crowd, to one little corner to try on the sizes and shortlist the ones we wanted to buy. When Chicky open his plastic bag (which everyone was given one to store their selected shoes), there's people coming over to put their hands in his bag. Chicky stared at them and tell them to backoff. When Piggy put down one pair on the floor to try out... people come over wanting to take that pair... Ain't that scary?!? Piggy quickly told them "It's MINE!" and "I want this!".... Hahaha... After shortlisting all the shoes, we throw the unwanted one in one bag and put it aside on the floor and people came over to the bag... like 'VULTURES'.... SCARY... Some people bought bags and bags of CROCS...

* Piggy and Mrs. Chicky so HAPPY with their new crocs... some more with XMAS decor...

My mission there is to buy this 'CAPRI' which I really like but didn't buy coz expensive BUT end up buying other things... bought 2 pair of shoes for myself and 2 pairs for my mom. One black 'Celeste Suede' and one red 'Troika', which looks like Ronald Mcdonald's shoes... haha...

Now, everyone's happy with their CROCS. = )

*** Hmm... Piggy always say I'm a 'Shopaholic'... I think deep inside she's one also... Hahaha... And she got a PINK CROCS with Mickey design... I didn't influence her this time... =p

Finals over... here comes JLPT...

I'm so glad my Jap Finals' over.... but JLPT to come... Lucky, there's Piggy coming to rescue. Hahaha... Still having HOLS mood after the loonng break... No mood to work... and now even no mood to blog... * Sigh... better go to sleep...

Back to Lion City = )

Back from Down Under... Had GREAT FUN doing the Amazing Race... Met Shee Hwa Hwa... and her other half.... Bubble's Owner... Climbed the Sydney Bridge but got bit disappointed coz maybe expected too much.... but we did enjoy ourselves... Met all the Aussie Mates but didn't get to 'pau-pau' koala or wombat... = ( Never walked so much.... Dead tired when back... Fell sick towards the last few days in Sydney... recovering... from 'fair n lovely' to 'burnt charcoal' after all the sun burnt... even after applying sun block... just in time to become 'Rudolph' during Christmas day. On the day back from KL to SG... I recharged my battery from 9pm till 9am the next day. Lazy bones in action after Looonng hols.... suppose to study for my finals... Well, at least I did study today with my classmates... gonna have Oral tomorrow... Wish me luck... and need to study more for my grammar on Mon as well as Listening and Dictation on Wed. I wonder why they need to split it into so many days... so troublesome.... Well, just enjoy my weekends before I get back to work on Mon....

Anyway, will try to blog more after the FINALS... = )

There goes my 20s and here comes my 30s... Getting older by a year today... Any wiser? Hahaha.. definitely had become 'grumpier' when at work... One of my colleague at work like to call me 'Ms. Grumpy' and I would always call her 'Ms. Frowny' coz she always frown in front of her notebook while working. hahaha...

Well... didn't really celebrate much this year... too busy preparing for my trip and clearing my work. Ate few dinners with friends earlier last couple of weeks... more of Jap.. n Jap... n Jap food. Had been skipping gym for 1 week so must cut down on my intake. Else, end up wider. Kekeke... And gonna skip for another 3 weeks while in AUS. 2 more days to go....

Hope I will have a safe, enjoyable and air-sick free trip this Sun!!! * fingers crossed...

Countdown...3..2..1... Here I come...

Gosh.. had been real busy lately and didn't really blog much.

BZ at work... BZ running here and there... settling stuff... stressing over the unfinished 'Down-Under' Itinerary and bookings. At last, it's all done 90%... so looking forward to it...

And at last, my long lost aunty found her way home tonite... never in my life, I was so looking forward to my aunty visiting me and being happy when it's at my doorsteps. Now, I hope she would just make a quick short visit before I say buh-bye to her and head off to meet 'Tapir' and gang, as well as the lovely penguins, koalas, dolphins and roos...

I haven't do my packing yet. Planning to do some crash packing tomorrow night... hopefully. Hahaha... always say go home early but end up home round 11pm... can't help it... suppose to early today and catch 'Tapir' online BUT... errr.. it's Piggy's fault... but I did it willingly la.. hahah... had to company her go dinner and fill up her almost empty wardrobe. Hehehe... shopaholic in action... helping her to put more colors in the daily life... I bet her mommy would be very happy. She look so lovely in her new clothes... = ))

Longest D&D that I've been to...

Last Sat was my company's D&D and it was at Shangrila hotel. It was the LONGEST D&D that I've been to... It started at 6pm and only ended towards midnight. Hahaha...

Maybe coz this year we're celebrating our 100th year anniversay so have to make it X-tra long for everyone to remember. = ) The food was just OK... no shark fin but wintermelon soup... lucky Piggy not here else she would be pretty disappointed without her favourite dish.

We had entertainment from our own staff... it's almost like a 'American Idols' thingy with all the contestants up for singing and dancing. Some were quite good and entertaining.... Well, at least everyone had FUN and we have a good emcee.

I didn't get to win any lucky draw as usual coz never really the 'lucky' one... BUT I got my $50 NTUC voucher as door gift. Everyone gets to draw their own door gift at the entrance... with minimum of at least $50 worth of gifts. My friend got 1 night stay in Sentosa and mostly got shopping and food vouchers.

I'm glad I got the NTUC voucher... happy shopping for groceries!! = )
