This Weekend's Outing -> FOREST ADVENTURE!

Looking forward to this SUN's outing... it would be the 2nd outing in year 2009.

Now my hommie said I'm like running a Moo-Moo tour agency organizing all these events and outings. Hahaha... non-earning tour agency BUT had LOTS of FUN though.

It started with me googling on some places that I've never been to in Singapore and activities that I have never done before... and I come accross this 'Forest Adventure' thingy in Bedok. Wanted to do this since last year but didn't have time... so postponed till now.

After persuading and convincing people how FUN it would be, I managed to get the final 18 members to join me in the FUN this Sun. It started with only 3 people initially and the response was pretty bad... then everyone just chickened out... BUT thanks to my friends and colleagues spreading the invitations around and we manage to get 20++ people. Last minute, a few could not make it so in total there's only 19 of us, just nice for corporate rate which is applicable for 15 people and above.

We will be going for a 'GRAND COURSE' which consists of 32 challenges in 4 sites, each completing with a 'Flying Fox' and the estimated time would be 2-3 hours for completion. It's gonna be whole LOTS of FUN and we're all paying to scare ourself to death. My fear would be the flying fox but still wanna try it out... at least once. kekeke...

PiGGy was telling me if her SOUL fly away... I must go catch it back for her... =p

JLPT4 wa goukaku shimashita! = >

Oops... dunno why it can't be rotated so the picture upload is bit 'CACAT'....

So HAPPY at last I get my JLPT4 results and I passed though not with flying colours BUT I'm satisfied with it. I didn't think I could pass coz did some last minute revision and catching up on lessons that was not covered in my ex-school. Well, thanks to 'Piggy' for the last minute couple of crash courses. TQTQ!! Muahhhhhh... = *

CONGRATS to PiGGy & KiRoPPi on passing their JLPT3. Oh ya.. haven't check out whether TaPir passed her exam or not BUT I'm very sure she have passed as well. = )

Too bad gym buddy didn't make it... missed slightly... BUT I know she can do better than that if she put in more effort... like how she go all out on her 'running' and 'spinning'... Yo, lil-buddha's fan.. if you're reading this... "GAN-BATTE KUDASAI!!" Think of lil-buddha for motivation...

I can't bring myself to imagine taking JLPT3 this year... at the rate of me catching up in class at my new school... it's like SPEED and my classmate said the teacher talk soooo fast... like PiGGY. Hahahah... Guess just have to be X-tra hardworking if want to take the exam... GANBATTE!!

* Latest running time -> 2km in 17:05 mins (slightly better and knee not that pain...) And GYM FREAK mode is back again... hahaha... need to feed my SOUL more though... Physically fit but not mentally fit...keke...

NOT in d M0-0D...

Lately just not in the mood to BLOG though there's LOTS of thoughts in mind... maybe think too much till bit clogged up. haha... sometimes you just feel like sitting down there quietly, relaxing and doing nothing... like having your own 'ME' time... = )

This morning went for a run at the gym after so long... can't remember when. After running for about 2Km++, the sharp pain in the knee is coming back. *sigh... had to stop after that... this time stamina is there but knee cannot take it.

This morning's timing was not that good. 2km in 17:45. Need more time to recover... Gosh, 3 more months to go... 10km in less than 90 mins?!? Initially, target 10km in 1 hour BUT I guess have to lower my target to 10km in 75 mins.

CUTIE PIE Moo-Moo Princess

Ain't she LOVELY? BUT I told my mom, wrapping her up in the striped, colourful towel really makes her look like a caterpillar... don't u think so?!? hahaha... there's one picture there... she's smiling while sleeping.... =)

Li'l MOO-MOO Princess is soooo cute and adorable... I'm starting to miss her dy...
Boy, it was a damn tiring trip back to KL last weekend BUT I guess it's worth while... if not becoz of going back to see the li'l one, I won't wanna suffer in the long ride. Ask PIGGY... we took the 7pm bus home and reach KL at 2am... crazy bus... usually it only takes 5 hours....this will be the first and last time taking that bus. PIGGY enjoyed the bus ride home though... they've got waiter serving food and drinks... personalized TV with video on demand with latest movies, TV games and massage chair.
Luckily, booked my bus ticket with 1st Coach next month... I still prefer taking rides with 1st Coach... no frills... cheaper and faster.

Preparing for Arrival of 1st Moo2 Princess

Shopaholic in action again today. Hahaha... Bought so many BB clothes for my 1st moo-moo niece... so looking forward to see her. Even bought ticket to go back with Piggy to KL next weekend. Everyone is so excited and waiting for the big day. My sis in law is suppose to deliver today but there's no contraction yet. If it is still not happening tomorrow, she would have to go to induce on Mon. Well, hope everything goes well and she would have a smooth delivery.

GOD BLESS THEM!

ABALONE - how to differentiate?

Any Idea on how to differentiate different types of ABALONE? I totally have no idea... hahah.. they all look the same to me... the only difference is the size and shape. This year my dad bought a few types of Abalone for my mom to cook during reunion dinner.

There are 3 types all together.... funny looking shape ya... i think the rounded one look cute... =p

This is how big it is... about 4+ inches in diameter.... Expensive stuff and I do not know how to appreciate. haha... I quite like to eat those baby ones... which they call the fake abalone... haha..

These 3 types of 'Abalone' comes from these 3 types of different can packaging. There's abalone with black lip, brown lip and blue lip... haha... but it looks pretty much the same to me... ?!?

HaPPy 'NIU' Nian 2009 in CHINA

HaPPy MOO-MOO year to you all! May all have a prosperous year and be blessed with good health, great wealth and lots of happiness... Time really flies... 2 more days to go and it will be 'Chap Goh Mei' and there goes the CNY for this year...

This 'MOO-MOO' year, I spent my CNY in CHINA with my whole family except for my 2nd bro and wife as the wife is delivering a li'l moo-moo bb soon. Everyone in the family is so looking forward to welcome this moo-moo princess.

Well, I missed celebrating CNY the old traditional ways back in hometown, where everyone goes visiting each other, relatives and friends. Then, everyone will have get together makan-makan, gambling, chit-chatting, play firecrackers/fireworks, etc. For the past few years, we had been having family outing during CNY. Anyway, it's great as long as you celebrate with your family, no matter where you are.

It was pretty FUN celebrating CNY in China. We went for a package tour for about a week there, covering Nanning and Guilin. 1st few days was pretty bad for me as I was sick but luckily got better on the 3rd day onwards. The weather change was pretty drastic, lowest was about 3 degree celcius and highest about 20 degree celcius. The weather was freezing cold... only towards the last 2 days it was warmer.

Below are some of the snapshots on the CNY atmosphere in Guilin...

It's a tradition to put up the 'Chun Lien' (New Year's couplets) every Chinese New Year at the front door. Not many people practise this tradition back in Malaysia nowadays. The picture below is taken at one of the village we visited in Yang Shuo.

It's legal to play firecrackers and fireworks there and it's so damn cheap. My bro and dad bought some to light up there. One big roll of firecrackers only cost about RM10-20. On CNY eve, the hotel next door to the one we stayed at... played firecrackers and fireworks non stop for almost 2 hours.... it's like burning lots of $$$.... hahaha...

My two li'l monster newphews freezing there... haha... the bridge behind them is the 'Crystal Glass Bridge'.

We get enjoy beautiful scenery at Guilin and Yang Shuo. The below picture is taken during the cruise at Li River (Li Jiang).

Beautiful scenery of Guilin from the top of 'Fubo Hill'. It took about 15-20 mins going up and down the hill.
